“A festival chariot lay on the north wall of Bhairav temple, disassembled. Children were playing dhikichyau on the evenly shaped wooden shafts. The broad faced temple stood proudly against the sky with green moss traversed across all three tiered roofs. She then picked an azalea petal and put it on her head like a token of his benevolence and completing her ritual; she gently caressed one of the brass lion guarding the façade and rang the temple bell three times”.
